This page loads Cassandra's live chain and verifies it in YOUR browser — WebCrypto SHA-256 over the same canonical bytes the server signs. Then it hands you the knife: tamper with the copy and watch verification catch it. No server round-trip in the checks; you don't have to trust us, that's the point.
These browser checks cover hashes, links and signature presence. Two deeper layers run server-side and offline: /verify-chain re-runs the committed pure engine on every committed input snapshot and demands the identical forecast (an edited call fails even if re-hashed and re-signed with the real key), and every snapshot carries its public source URL so you can re-fetch the inputs yourself. Full offline verifier: pip install the package from the listing and run python -m cassandra.verify against /chain.
